WHAT WE DO

We support the 160,000+ families across Oregon that enjoy recreational boating and 400+ local companies that depend on their business.

Advocacy

As a unified group, we make sure state lawmakers hear our collective voice. Our community organizers, lobbyists and lawyers work together to advocate for reasonable and responsible access to Oregon’s waterways for motorized and non-motorized sports.

Education

To foster a responsible environment on our waterways, we educate boaters about courteous behavior to ensure every moment on Oregon’s waterways is safe and enjoyable for all.

Environment

As stewards of the environment and the communities where we live and work, the recreational boating community continues to advocate for environmental protection and safety throughout our waterways.

NEWBERG POOL VIRTUAL TOUR

Matt Radich, President of Active Water Sports, takes viewers on a tour of the Newberg Pool, arguably one of the most highly regulated bodies of water in Oregon. See just how limited wake surfing is in this stretch of the Willamette River, why the wake surfing zones were selected and what additional regulations are already in place to keep the river safe and healthy.
