Did you know? Sound carries farther on the water than it does on land. While watersports and enjoying music go hand-in-hand, be courteous to your fellow boaters and lakeside/riverside residents by keeping music at reasonable levels while recreating.

Accidents can happen when you least expect it. Regardless of age or swimming ability, wearing a life jacket is crucial to staying safe on the water. π Suit up in a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket and ensure you and your passengers wear a life jacket on the water. Need a loaner? Float on over to @boatoregon π to find a station near you https://www.oregon.gov/osmb/boater-info/pages/life-jacket-loaner-stations.aspx
Alcohol can have a stronger effect when combined with sun, wind, and motion. If you choose to have a drink, drink responsibly and have a designated Sober Skipper before leaving the dock. Take the pledge to have a Sober Skipper at: bit.ly/soberskipperpledge
